Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at the District Office on March 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., led by the Pledge of Allegiance.  The meeting was called to order by the President of the Board, Bob Lewis at 8:00 a.m.

Unless otherwise noted, all Board action was by unanimous decision.

Members Present: Bob Lewis, Penny Oedekoven, Richard Harmon, Gary Velder, Judy Heisler, Mike Wolff, Todd Williamson and Dallas Conner.  

Motion by Judy Heisler, second by Richard Harmon to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

The Minutes of the regular February 11, 2026, meeting was presented and approved on a motion by Gary Velder, second by Penny Oedekoven.  Motion carried. 

The Treasurer’s Report and bills were approved on a motion by Judy Heisler, second Richard Harmon.  Motion carried.

Old Business:

• Well Update – Tank construction will start the end of the month.  Plans for the pump house and pipeline should be complete and ready for bid in April. 

New Business:

• First Reading of Ordinance No 2-2026 – Fee Schedule

• Building Upgrades – Quotes for a front door for the office and the Vale Well House were presented.  Motion by Judy Heisler, seconded by Richard Harmon to approve the quote from Architectural Specialties, LLC for office.  Motion carried.

Office Manager Report:

• New printer has been installed and is working fine.
• Credit card for Todd is in the works.  There have been a few issues with adding a card for him.
• New cell phones and tablet were setup.  This was done for changes to Sensus.

Manager Report:

• Excavator track is adjusted and the work is completed.
• Taylor Rd – Bore crew hit a main, required an after-hours fix.
• Set main valves east of town for road work to be done in near future.

Motion by Judy Heisler, seconded by Richard Harmon, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 am.
