A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at District Office on November 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by the President of the Board, Bob Lewis.
Members Present: Bob Lewis, Gary Velder and Brian Stambaugh (via tele conference), Merri Stapp, Clerk-Treasurer and Mike Wolff, District Manager. Absent: Penny Oedekoven and Judy Heisler.
The special meeting was held to discuss the 8” water main line break on Indian Creek Bridge that blew out.
President Lewis moved for the adoption of the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the BMSWD that an emergency exists because of a large 8” main line water break on the Indian Creek Bridge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that because of that emergency, customers may be without water, while the existing system would be strained to provide water.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that because of the existing emergency Manager Wolff will make arrangements to replace the main line as soon as possible.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gary Velder and upon a roll call the following voted yea: Bob Lewis, Gary Velder and Brian Stambaugh. Nayes: None.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned @ 1:05 pm
