Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at the District Office on June 10, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., led by the Pledge of Allegiance.  The meeting was called to order by the President of the Board, Bob Lewis at 8:00 a.m.

Unless otherwise noted, all Board action was by unanimous decision.

Members Present: Bob Lewis, Penny Oedekoven, Richard Harmon, Gary Velder, Judy Heisler, Mike Wolff, Todd Williamson and Dallas Conner.  

Motion by Richard Harmon, second by Judy Heisler to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

The Minutes of the regular May 13, 2026, meeting was presented and approved on a motion by Judy Heisler, second by Gary Velder.  Motion carried. 

The Treasurer’s Report and bills were approved on a motion by Penny Oedekoven, second Richard Harmon.  Motion carried.

Old Business:

• Well Update – McCoy Well water is on the system.
• Pump house and pipeline bid – Waiting on Jason Pettyjohn with FMG to schedule bid acceptance.  Dallas will let the board know when the meeting is scheduled.

New Business:

• Red Water River Estates Agreement – Dwight is finished updating the contract.  Dallas will send the contract with a September 1 start date. 

• Kristin Conzet with WDRWS presented on status of project.

Office Manager Report:

• MJ Drilling has issued payment; Dwight will notify the state the case is closed. 

Manager Report:

• Issues with Vale Pump, had to turn on Bear Butte Water.
• Fixed leak by Vale.
• Trenched in line on Jukkola Rd.
• Replace meter pits that have been issues.

Motion by Richard Harmon, seconded by Judy Heisler, the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 am.
