Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at the District Office on May 13, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., led by the Pledge of Allegiance.  The meeting was called to order by the President of the Board, Bob Lewis at 8:00 a.m.

Unless otherwise noted, all Board action was by unanimous decision.

Members Present: Bob Lewis, Penny Oedekoven, Richard Harmon, Gary Velder, Judy Heisler, Mike Wolff, Todd Williamson and Dallas Conner.  

Motion by Richard Harmon, second by Judy Heisler to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

The Minutes of the regular April 8, 2026, meeting was presented and approved on a motion by Penny Oedekoven, second by Judy Heisler.  Motion carried. 

The Treasurer’s Report and bills were approved on a motion by Judy Heisler, second Richard Harmon.  Motion carried.

Old Business:

• Well Update – Base is poured, pumped chlorine down well to disinfect, flushed and will start adding to system.
• Advertise to Bid pump house and pipeline – Planning on bid opening to be May 19th at 2:00 pm

New Business:

• Executive Session – Motion by Richard Harmon, second by Judy Heisler to enter Executive Session at 8:05. 

Office Manager Report:

• Recycling was taken in, the total turned in was $842.98
• I will talk to Dwight to have a new contract drawn up for Riverside. 

Manager Report:

• Physicals are needed to renew CDL by July 1.  Mike will talk with the operators to get this done.
• Added a curb stop by Nisland and fixed a leak going to the fairgrounds.
• Completed a basement removal.
• Fixed door on Chevy.
• PLC, Program Logic Controller replace in Vale.

Motion by Richard Harmon, seconded by Judy Heisler, the meeting was adjourned at 9:01 am
