Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at the District Office on April 8, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., led by the Pledge of Allegiance.  The meeting was called to order by the Vice President of the Board, Penny Oedekoven at 8:00 a.m.

Unless otherwise noted, all Board action was by unanimous decision.

Members Present: Penny Oedekoven, Richard Harmon, Gary Velder, Judy Heisler, Mike Wolff, Todd Williamson and Dallas Conner.  

Motion by Judy Heisler, second by Richard Harmon to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

The Minutes of the regular March 11, 2026, meeting was presented and approved on a motion by Gary Velder, second by Richard Harmon.  Motion carried. 

The Treasurer’s Report and bills were approved on a motion by Judy Heisler, second Richard Harmon.  Motion carried.

Old Business:

• Well Update – RCS is on site, ground is leveled and footings are started, some have been poured.
• Building Upgrade – The door has been ordered.  We will be contacted once it comes in to schedule installation. 

New Business:

• Second Reading of Ordinance No 2-2026 – Fee Schedule

• Advertise to bid pump house and pipeline – Motion by Gary Velder, seconded by Judy Heisler to Advertise to bid pump house and pipeline. Motion carried.

Office Manager Report:

• Base rates for Riverside, Lonestar & Fruitdale need to be adjusted.  They are still at $35/household.
• Todd’s credit card arrived.  

Manager Report:

• Main break on Eichler 
• Sampling on new well
• Cleaning up shop & gathering brass to recycle.

Motion by Judy Heisler, seconded by Richard Harmon, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 am.
