A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at the District Office on March 8, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., led by the Pledge of Allegiance.  The meeting was called to order by the President of the Board, Bob Lewis at 8:00 a.m.

Unless otherwise noted, all Board action was by unanimous decision.

Members Present: Bob Lewis, Gary Velder, Penny Oedekoven, Richard Harmon, Judy Heisler, Mike Wolff, and Dallas Conner.  

Motion by Judy Heisler, second Penny Oedekoven to adopt the agenda, motion carried.

The Minutes of the regular February 8, 2023, meeting were read and approved on a motion by Judy Heisler and second by Gary Velder.  Motion carried. 

The Treasurer’s Report and bills were approved on a motion by Richard Harmon, second Gary Velder.  Motion carried.

Old Business:

• Land purchase – Purchase agreement has been signed & earnest money was given to landowners. It now will go before the city & country for the subdivision request.

New Business:

• Computers – New server & computers have been installed.  Things are going well with only a few minor issues that are being resolved.
• Office Training – The spring training will be held April 11 & 12 in Mitchell.  The board agreed Dallas should attend and will reschedule the next meeting to April 19, 2023.

Manager Report:

• The subdivision request will go before the County Commissioners on March 14.  Mike will attend the meeting.
• Been dealing with leaks in the Vale part of the system.  
• Capp land sale is this afternoon.  Mike will attend to answer questions from potential buyers.
• PFAS paperwork has been submitted.  
• Mike has had several service inquires for new taps.  It looks like it will be another busy summer.

Motion by Penny Oedekoven, second Richard Harmon, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 am.
